How we choose products

Commission rate does not influence our picks. Within a single Amazon category the commission percentage is identical for every product — ranking a $400 machine above a $350 one earns us nothing extra, so there is no incentive to do so.

We choose products on published specifications, documented failure modes, price stability, and long-term owner reports. Where a product is included purely because it is popular, we say so.
